Purpose: A group of Ugandan Muslims in the US formed the Ugandan American Muslim Association (UAMA) in 2007 "to emphasize a person’s religious, social, cultural, economical, and intellectual development. UAMA is committed to helping one grow, assisting him/her to understand all areas of human knowledge from the perspective of a Muslim, and preparing them to impact their world in the name of Allah.
Membership: Membership is open to all. All memberships are renewed annually and follow the calendar year schedule.
